Where it came from
A seventeen-day trip through the UK and Ireland for five people: London to Dublin, castles, ferries, a hire car, twelve places to sleep. It got planned, and it was good — but it took forty browser tabs, a spreadsheet nobody else opened, and one person doing all of it. Every feature here answers a pain from that trip. When we are not sure about something, the question is still: would this have made that trip easier?
How we make money
Commission on some bookings, and a personal subscription for people who want more. That's it — no ads, and we never sell your data.
Commission never influences a recommendation. When the best answer earns us nothing we say it anyway — the clearest example is car hire, where we tell you not to buy excess insurance at the rental desk. Read that one →
It is not a policy we ask you to trust. The systems that rank and suggest are built without access to commission data at all, and the published ranking description says exactly what does and does not move an order — dated, and updated before a change ships rather than after.
What we won't do
- Sell a placement in a suggestion, ever.
- Hold or move your money — settle-up works out who owes whom and links you out.
- Paywall the thing your group needs to plan a trip together.
- Run advertising, or sell what we know about your trip to anyone.
Where we are
